Alicia Macinnes

Handmade contemporary glass jewellery. Each piece of glass Jewellery is hand made by Alicia MacInnes in her Glasgow studio. The technique is fusing. Pieces of glass are assembled together and placed in the kiln and taken to a temperature of over 8oo degrees centigrade , the pieces melt together and become one piece.

Alicia's glass is almost exclusively produced on a commission basis for both private and public buildings. However she continues to produce one-off fused and sculptural glass pieces and a range of comtemporary jewellery designs for exhibition and retail sale.
